In news that will surprise absolutely no one, I spend a lot of time with my dog. A lot of the time I’m at home thinking about what to paint next, then I look at my girl and think, “I’ll paint a dog.”
She’s a notorious sniffer. Not much of an athlete, but if there were Doggie Olympics for sniffing, she’d definitely be in medal contention. So I made this work about a dog’s happy place - surrounded by endless strange and beautiful flowers to smell.
