I used to have two French Bulldogs. Between all the grunting, panting, and farting, they don’t exactly exude the effortless style traditionally associated with the classic Parisian lifestyle. I wanted to paint something that captures the je ne sais quoi of a Frenchie. Something that shows that even though they shouldn’t fit into a world of style and grace, they somehow do. Because style isn’t just about shape and poise, it’s also about uniqueness and personality. I like how the three of them fit together in that way - three French girls, each doing their own thing.
